Straw Bale housing, underground homes, houses of concrete-flying future owners and contractors are coming up to a variety of alternative building materials that are environmentally sustainable. But I have another idea, I want to build a house of novels by Danielle Steel.

I got the idea during a period when I was selling some of my collection of books over the Internet. When I ran out of my books that I began to look more into the yard sales and sales of library books, and quickly learned that some used books are better than others. How-to books did well, like New Age spirituality books.

You can not pay people to take Danielle Steel novels out of hand. The reason? Things were bestsellers, and were printed and sold in the millions. Anyone who might want a novel by Danielle Steel, apparently had already bought one.

And there came the idea. People do houses of straw bales, why not novels of Danielle Steel? Create walls of chicken wire, to the coast throws them with plywood, capsized in the novels of Danielle Steel, along with books by John Grisham, Readers Digest Condensed Books, pasta and other fiction, and poured on the concrete. Voila! A Danielle Steel home, perfect for the literary and romantic among us.

Imagine how the cost of housing would decrease if, for example, Habitat for Humanity would be a pulp fiction, soliciting donations of battered, beat books to use for the walls of their homes. Imagine that families can buy these low-cost homes.

There is a potential housing revolution out there waiting for us, all thanks to Danielle Steel.
